Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, pursuant to the answer of 7 September 2026, to question 23174 on Radioactive Waste: Waste Management, by when will he have delivered the a) review, b) update of the programme’s business case and c) lifetime plan.

Nuclear Waste Services is in the process of developing the business case assumptions for the next phase of the GDF programme and revised lifetime plan.

Nuclear Waste Services and NISTA will also undertake an Assurance of Action Plan this Autumn.
