Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many loss of tool incidents have occurred in each prison establishment since May 2010.
Tool or implement losses are infrequent occurrences, however each one is taken seriously and subject to local investigation. The number of losses has remained stable over the last 10 years.
The following table provides a breakdown of the number of tool or implement losses reported between May 2010 and January 2016.
