To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether his Department has a target for the time taken to make a decision on a claim submitted to the Windrush compensation scheme.

There is no target for the time taken to make a decision on a claim submitted under the Windrush compensation scheme. We will aim to award compensation as quickly as possible, but the time it will take to process each claim will depend on the complexity of individual cases.
