Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what discussions his Department has had with the Department for Health and Social Care on integrating health and care needs into planning frameworks and strategies.

The Department engages with the Department of Health and Social Care in the preparation of planning policy and guidance. The National Planning Policy Framework expects plans and decisions to address identified local health and well-being needs and to take into account and support the delivery of local strategies to improve health and social well-being for all.
