Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment she has made of the adequacy of the progress of research on treatments for (a) Alzheimer's and (b) dementia.

No assessment has been made. I refer the Hon Member to the answer provided on 2 June 2026 to Question 3358. Information on dementia research funding broken down by dementia sub-type is not centrally held.
