Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what plans he has to hold discussions with Cabinet colleagues on changes to the length of gestation required for a still-born baby to be issued with a (a) birth and (b) death certificate.

The Government has no plans to change the definition of stillbirth to include pregnancy losses before 24 weeks of gestation.
