Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what estimate he has made of the number of car wash businesses in the UK; and what estimate he has made of the tax paid by such businesses in the last year.

HM Revenue & Customs has made no estimate of the number of car wash businesses in the UK or the tax paid by such businesses in the last year because information is not available at that level of disaggregation.
