Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what plans his Department has to extend covid-19 vaccinations to children under five.
This question was answered on 27th June 2022
There are currently no COVID-19 vaccines for children under the age of five years old currently approved for use in the United Kingdom. We will continue to monitor developments and if a vaccine is approved for use in the UK, we will seek the advice of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation.
