The Government is currently reviewing its strategy on Protection of Civilians in Armed Conflict, which applies to all civilians including children. The review coincides with the twentieth anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1265 (1999) and the adoption of the Protection of Civilians as an item on the Security Council’s agenda.
