Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how many outbreaks of legionnaires in turkeys there have been in the last five years.

Legionnaires’ disease is a water-borne infection that affects humans and Defra is not aware of any cases of Legionella bacteria affecting turkeys.
