The Department has commissioned an ongoing National Institute for Health and Care Research study assessing the National Child Measurement Programme's impact on the mental health and wellbeing of children participating, and includes psychological measures to assess body image, eating behaviours, weight-related concerns, teasing, and self-esteem.
