Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, when her Department plans to make a final decision on the preferred bidder for the joint venture partner for the Food and Environment Research Agency.

The procurement exercise to find a joint venture partner for Fera is underway. Defra Ministers expect to take a decision on the preferred bidder in the new year following the formal evaluation exercise.
