Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many days of sick leave have been taken by staff in his Department due to (a) stress and (b) mental ill-health in each of the last five years.

Departmental information systems do not record sickness absence relating to stress as a distinct category, but rather includes them in figures related to mental health disorders which are shown in the following table.
