This United Kingdom Government is committed to the effective implementation of its international obligations.

The UK recognises the important role played by the Compliance Committee in making recommendations to promote effective implementation of the Aarhus Convention. Decisions under the Convention are a matter for the Meeting of the Parties (MoP), acting through the Convention's established processes.
