Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what discussions he has had with the Chancellor of the Exchequer on the effect of funding changes in insolvency litigation in the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 on HM Revenue and Customs.

No conversations have taken place between the Secretary of State and the Chancellor of the Exchequer about the effects of the no win no fee reforms on insolvency proceedings. Officials are having ongoing discussions with other government departments on issues relating to and arising from the LASPO Act 2012.
