Hospitals: Malnutrition

Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many NHS patients died of starvation in NHS hospitals in each of the last 10 years.
This question was answered on 31st January 2019
Information relating to death by starvation is National Health Service hospitals is not held centrally.
There is no statutory definition of “starvation” in the Health and Social Care Act 2008, or subordinate legislation.
