To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many employees of the Civil Aviation Authority have been subject to formal disciplinary action in each of the last five years.

In each of the last 5 years the following numbers of CAA employees have been subject to formal disciplinary proceedings. Where numbers are 5 or less, we have withheld the precise number on grounds of confidentiality in line with the Data Protection Act
