Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many incidents at HMP Berwyn were referred to the police in 2018.

At HMP Berwyn, there have been 234 incidents whereby referrals have been made to the North Wales Police from January to December 2018. HMP Berwyn is committed to working with all Criminal Justice partners across Wales to achieve the best outcome to an incident for both the prisoners and staff.
