The Food Standards Agency (FSA) advises that the Food Crime Unit is likely to include seconded police officers and other experts, as appropriate. The exact mix of background and skills has not been finalised. In addition to officers working within the Unit, the FSA will continue to work with an extensive network of law enforcement partners (including the police and Local Authorities) to access and draw on intelligence to task investigations and to build links internationally.
