Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to the written statement of 4 September 2014, on the Elliott Review, when the Food Crime Unit will be operational.
This question was answered on 9th September 2014
The Food Standards Agency advises that the Food Crime Unit will be operational and the first phase will incorporate a well-developed intelligence capability by the end of 2014.
