Armed Forces: Personal Savings

Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if he will make an estimate of the number of staff working for the armed forces who have (a) no savings, (b) savings of less than £100 and (c) savings equivalent to less than (i) one and (ii) three month’s salary.

The requested information is not collected by the Ministry of Defence (MOD). An individual’s level of savings and personal finances are an entirely private matter.
