Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether the House of Lords Appointments Commission has issued guidance on whether political parties who make recommendations for inclusion of proposed peers in a Political List should be given the option of submitting a substitute recommendation if a proposed name (a) does not pass the due diligence process and (b) requires substantive further consideration before that name can be approved.
