Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether the Prime Minister has recused himself from any policy area.

As set out in the Ministerial Code, there is an established process in place for the declaration and management of interests held by ministers. This ensures that steps are taken to avoid or mitigate any actual or perceived conflicts of interest.

The personal information which ministers disclose to those who advise them is treated in confidence. A statement covering relevant ministers’ interests - the List of Ministers’ Interests - is published by the Independent Adviser on Ministerial Standards on a quarterly basis and is available on GOV.UK. Any relevant private interests for the Prime Minister will be published in the usual way.
