Charities and other organisations with an interest in this area were briefed on the Independent Breast Screening Review and its recommendations when it was published on 13 December, and will come to their own decisions about how they wish to respond to the Review.

The Department will consider the report of the Independent Breast Screening Review and its recommendations in detail and will be publishing a full response on behalf of the Government shortly.
