HM Courts and Tribunal Service (HMCTS) does not capture detail on the total costs associated with administering individual cases. All proceedings issued attract court fees which are set by reference to the estimated cost to HMCTS for administering these types of proceedings. These fees contribute to the funding of HMCTS.
