To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many women have a diagnosis of endometriosis.

The Hospital Episode Statistics database records a count of 21,777 finished consultant episodes with a primary diagnosis of endometriosis in the financial year 2017-18.
This figure does not necessarily represent the number of different patients, as a person may have more than one episode of care within the same stay in hospital or in different stays in the same year.
