To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will increase funding for Healthwatch England.

Healthwatch England are one of many organisations that ensure the voices of service users are heard across England’s healthcare system. Funding for Healthwatch England has increased over the years, from £2.6 million in 2017/18 to £3.4 million in 2021/22. Moving forward, we will ensure that Healthwatch and similar organisations receive appropriate funding to discharge their functions effectively.
