Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether the immigration health surcharge will apply to EU citizens arriving in the UK after the UK leaves the EU.

The Government are clear that any EU citizen who is resident in the UK before we leave the European Union in ​March 2019 will not pay the surcharge. We will set out our plans for a future global immigration system in due course.
