Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what criteria his Department used in the decision to invite Hikvision to the Security and Policing Trade Fair in March 2020.

Companies register for Security and Policing exhibition and conference via the ADS website and must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• UK company manufacturing relevant products and equipment;
• UK company supplying a relevant service;
• International company (manufacturer and/or supplier) with registered offices in the UK;
• International company with an innovative product and/or service not available in the UK looking for UK representation.
