Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if the Government will hold discussions with (a) advertisers and (b) major supermarkets on reducing the amount of advertisement of foods and drinks that are high in sugar.

Officials from the Department have regular discussions with representatives from advertisers and major supermarkets. Conversations include reducing the amount of advertisements of food and drinks that are high in sugar.
