Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what support his Department provides to organisations that support people to stop smoking through the encouragement of the take-up of vaping.
Public Health England (PHE) provides a range of resources to organisations and healthcare professionals that support people to stop smoking, including advice and guidance on e-cigarettes.
PHE also commissioned the National Centre for Smoking Cessation and Training and the New Nicotine Alliance to produce a series of videos to support members of the public to switch from smoking cigarettes to vaping. These videos are available at the following link:
