The overriding principle when allocating accommodation is that it is offered on a ‘no choice basis’, in line with our Allocation of Accommodation policy.

Caseworkers may receive requests to provide accommodation in a particular location due to exceptional circumstances. The Home Office’s policy in dealing with such requests is set out in the Allocation of Accommodation policy - Allocation of accommodation (publishing.service.gov.uk)
