Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what information his Department holds on which licensing authorities do not require disability equality training as a condition of licensing (a) taxi drivers and (b) private hire drivers.

The Department for Transport conducts an annual survey of taxi and private hire vehicle licensing authorities; this includes information on CCTV, Disclosure and Barring Service checks and training requirements, which can be found in TAXI0106:
