The number of successful individual funding requests since January 2018 is less than 10, and the true figure has been withheld to protect patient confidentiality. The critically urgent criteria process and decision making ceased on publication of the Specialised Commissioning Service Development Policy, which was published by NHS England on 12 September 2017.
