Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will introduce legislation for safe staffing levels in NHS England.

Patient safety remains a priority for the Department; however, we have no plans to bring forward new legislative proposals to ensure safe staffing levels are maintained in the National Health Service in England.
