The Equality Act 2010 places the responsibility of providing reasonable adjustments upon employers.

Access to Work advisers are able to provide information to employers when they are considering the types of support that may be available.

The Disability Confident Campaign and Access to Work advisers promote a clear message to employers of their responsibilities to make reasonable adjustments and also that Access to Work is available as a support beyond reasonable adjustments.

This can de-risk hiring or retaining disabled workers.
