Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, whether his Department has conducted an impact assessment of the Access to Work annual cap since its introduction in 2015.
This question was answered on 29th March 2023
An impact assessment was undertaken and published online, prior to the introduction of the upper limit to Access to Work in 2015. A review of the impact assessment was undertaken in 2018 and published online, prior to the Written Ministerial Statement of 20 March 2018 increasing the upper limit from 1.5x national average earnings to 2x national average earnings.
