Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many doctors have requested a certificate of current professional status in 2015.
This question was answered on 24th November 2015
The information requested is not held centrally. The General Medical Council reports that between 1 January and 16 November 2015 it issued certificates of current professional status to 8,026 doctors.
