As we announced at the Autumn Budget, the Government is funding a large scale £200 million regional pilot of the Voluntary Right to Buy scheme in the Midlands, which will launch this summer. The funding will be £50 million in 2018/19 and £150 million in 2019/20. The pilot will test key aspects of the voluntary agreement with housing associations not tested in the initial small-scale pilot, including the portable discount and one for one replacement.
