Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how many birds died as a result of avian flu in each of the last five years.

The Animal and Plant Health Agency holds the following records on the birds that have died as a result of avian influenza or were culled as part of disease control operations, or for wild birds from the Agency’s surveillance of wild bird reserves
