Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what assessment he has made of the potential merits of introducing free electrical safety checks for vulnerable groups.

Our recent public consultation on electrical safety in the private rented sector produced just under 600 responses, including from a mix of stakeholders including tenant groups. The responses are currently being analysed and an announcement will be made in due course.
