The financial deductions that have been levied against Amey between the start of the contract, June 2015 to May 2018 total £2,620,956. This amount is a direct result of contractual performance indicators falling below the minimum acceptable level.

We will not hesitate to impose tough financial remedies where standards fall short. We continue to closely monitor the performance of all public prisons, and will take further action if and when required.
