Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, pursuant to the Answers of 8 June 2015 to Questions 767 and 768, on personal independence payment, what arrangements are in place to deal with the anticipated number of reassessments after October 2015.

At the Work and Pensions Committee on 29th January 2015 the former Minister of State for Disabled Persons confirmed DWP would implement Full PIP Rollout in a way that is commensurate with capacity. Claimants will be randomly selected for Full PIP Rollout on a post code basis where we are confident that capacity exists. We are working closely with Assessment Provider organisations to progress detailed planning and assurance activity needed to ensure capacity to deal with increased volumes is in place
