Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, if she will meet the hon. Member for York Central to discuss safety and safeguarding at a school in York.

Schools and colleges have a critical role to play in safeguarding children and promoting their welfare. Keeping Children Safe in Education is statutory safeguarding guidance which all schools and colleges must have regard to, to ensure the safety of children at school. I would be very pleased to meet the hon. Member for York Central to discuss safety and safeguarding in the particular school and more generally.
