Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, when he plans to establish a statutory duty to provide annual reports on the progress of the levelling up agenda; and what the timescale is for the publication of the first report.

As set out in the Levelling Up White Paper, the Government will legislate to create a statutory duty to publish an annual report on progress towards meeting the Levelling Up missions when Parliamentary time allows. Further details regarding the annual report will be published in due course.
