Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what steps he is taking to resolve issues with the transition to the new IT system ATLAS.
Following the implementation of the new system used for the application and processing of asylum support in March 2018 we are aware that a minority of service users’ have experienced delays in the processing of their applications and payments.
We are working closely with our IT and commercial partners and other stakeholders to resolve these issues and to continue to ensure that no service users are left destitute.
