Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, whether her Department has engaged with international trading partners on equivalence and mutual recognition of timber treatment standards, particularly in relation to the (i) United States and (ii) European Union.

The Government engages regularly with international partners on a range of issues affecting timber trade, including the United States and European Union.
