Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, with reference to his Department's policy release, Government announces it will fully fund unsafe cladding removal in social housing, published on 16 May 2018, what plans he has to ensure that buildings on which that work is carried out meet high energy efficiency standards and provide a reasonable degree of thermal comfort.

We will announce more details shortly about how councils and housing associations can apply for funding, including conditions attached to the grant.
