All vaccination sites, including vaccination centres have been designed to ensure safe and easy access for the whole population, so it is paramount they are COVID-19 secure. To enable this, guidance has been provided to ensure that the required non-pharmaceutical interventions are in operation at all times. This includes, but not limited to regular cleaning, the wearing of facemasks at all times, maintaining the two-meter rule and hand sanitising stations being readily available. At the same time healthcare professionals will be supplied with the appropriate personal protective equipment and vaccinations should be deferred for those with confirmed COVID-19 infection.
