Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps his Department is taking to enable women's frozen eggs to be kept for longer periods of time.

The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 1990, as amended in 2008, sets out the time limits and conditions for storing frozen eggs. The Government has no current plans to review this.
